What is the BC Section of the Illuminating Engineering Society?
The Illuminating Engineering Society of North America is a
not-for-profit technical society whose mission is to
improve the lighted environment by bringing together those with
lighting knowledge and by translating that knowledge into
actions that benefit the public.
The Illuminating Engineering Society of North America was
founded in 1906 to establish scientific lighting recommendations
and to advance knowledge of the the lighted environment for the
benefit and improvement of society.
