Alison will touch on our current lighting design, what are the client needs and how to work within budget restraints.
She will comment on LEED, WELL Building with an overview of successes and challenges of lighting design and installation at the New TACC facility.

Alison White Assoc. IALD, MIES, IDA, LC, presently with The Lighting Group at SMP Engineering in Calgary AB, spent most of her career in eastern Canada, relocating to Alberta 11years ago. Her education is Architectural; however, her experience started in electrical design but has specialized in architectural lighting for over 25 years.
Alison has been an instructor and guest lectured at several university programs in Architectural, Interior Design and Electrical Engineering. She presented at the ESCC 2018 – 5th International Conference on Energy, Sustainability and Climate Change in Mykonos, Greece, on LED Lighting Systems and Energy Savings.
She is a past president and an active volunteer with the IES Calgary Section.
