ED150 Intermediate Lighting Course
The next step to increasing your lighting expertise is to enroll in this intermediate lighting course. This course will promote personal growth and competence in lighting principles, enable you to network with industry experts and is the next step before the NCQLP exam (see below).
This course is presented in three segments. Students may take any of the segments, but must pass all three before receiving a certificate.
Session One Designing for Lighting Quality, Vision & Colour, Establishing Lighting Design Goals, Electrical Systems & Economics and Daylighting
Session One Lamps & Ballasts, Lighting Controls, Luminaires & Optics, Calculating Illuminance at a Point and Computers in Lighting Design & Analysis
Session Three Lumen Method, Applications for Critical Seeing, Applications for Impact Lighting, Applications for Exterior Lighting and Project Presentations/Evaluations
